You may recall the hype that started back in May as retail giant H&M announced it would be teaming up with Kenzo’s Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, the brand’s Creative Directors, for their latest designer collaboration and guess what? We have your exclusive first look at the campaign below.

Upon initial viewing of the three images Kenzo and H&M have released, the collection has been widely praised for it’s use of diversity within the campaign. The fashion industry as of late has been criticised for being poorly representative. The featured campaign images (seen below) from the collection’s lookbook we see include well-known faces such as Amy Sall, an activist and founder of  SUNU: Journal of African Affairs, Critical Thought  + Aesthetics; artist and poet Juliana Huxtable; musician Oko Ebombo; and make-up artist Isamaya Ffrench.

When we wrote about the Kenzo x H&M announcement here on Union Times in May, we did anticipate a lot of, well.. everything. Colour, print and plenty of creativity were on the cards in-line with the brand’s signature style and Kenzo’s design duo have not disappointed. The range, so far, will most definitely only appeal to a certain type of fashionista with as you can see, tiger print being very evidently used in each piece. We have a feeling the Spice Girls would’ve loved this.

The collection is due for release on November 3rd in H&M stores and online.
