The centenary celebrations just keep on coming! As the magazine (British Vogue) celebrates the 100th anniversary of its foundation, it was announced today that the normally based Eastern European ‘Vogue Café’ will launch a pop-up shop location in West London.
The café which will be much like it’s fellow counterparts will be situated at The Village Westfield in Shepherds Bush, West London. For the foodie, typically the cafés serves serve contemporary European cuisine, sandwiches, cupcakes/muffins and of course, Afternoon Tea. Much to our delight, food will be prepared with the fashion season’s trends in mind. As well as dining, for the glamorous Vogue clientèle, the café prides itself on its alcoholic beverages. Vogue Café serves four different types of champagne by the glass; including Bollinger. Prosecco, cocktails and indeed hot drinks such as hot chocolate will also be served. The ever enticing Krug Grand Cuvee Brut NV will cost £195 ($282) a bottle.
The project undertaken by Condé Nast International is hoping to expand further. A new ‘Vogue Lounge‘ is also launching in Kuala Lumpur later this year having established one in Bangkok. Vogue Café was first opened in Moscow (pictured above) and following on from that, in Kiev and The Dubai Mall with another opening in Dubai soon and in Doha. Under new licensing agreements, they’re also expanding their media brands (GQ & Tatler) to restaurants with the GQ Bar in Dubai and Almaty and the Tatler Club in Moscow.
Vogue Café in London will operate from June 16th to September 18th at The Village Westfield in Shepherds Bush, west London.
