Kate Moss made a triumphant return to the Cannes Film Festival red carpet yesterday. Her first in 15 years. Kate’s younger half-sister, Lottie Moss, also attended.
Nothing brings media attention to an event like supermodels walking the red carpet. However, the iconic Kate Moss return will most definitely go down as a Cannes 2016 highlight. The last time Kate was seen at the annual event was in 2001 when she attended the Apocalypse Now Redux première, aged just 27. She wore a bright red Grecian style Halston gown to the Loving première yesterday, accessorised with Chopard (Cannes Film Festival partner) jewellery.
Kate’s half-sister, Charlotte Moss or Lottie, as she’s known, made her début at the Film Festival this year wearing another bright red gown with Chopard diamond jewellery also. The gown was created by Dior couture designers. Lottie, 18, is also signed to Storm Models London where Kate was assigned to until recently, stating she was going to be bringing her work more ‘in-house’.
Lottie made her mark last year when she attended Fashion Week and her career has gone from strength to strength since. She was credited with modelling for Calvin Klein and Teen Vogue.
For the May issue of Vogue Paris, (pictured, right) Lottie appeared alongside Lucky Blue Smith on the cover. The stunning cover was shot by renowned photographer, Mario Testino.
